“From start to finish, American Classic has been nothing but a pleasant experience. Their website is very user-friendly and easy to navigate, they have great online rates/deals, and their customer service is outstanding. Ms. Veronica (she is SO SWEET!) helped me every step of the way and answered all my questions. I always get nervous with anything that requires signing a lease or rental agreement because you always feel like there are hidden scams or fees in the contract, but not here. Everything is straight forward, and no hidden fees or scams as long as you're a decent human being and follow their simple guidelines (I mean, if you vandalize their property, you're going to get charged. Duh!). Once all my paperwork was signed, another very sweet lady, Joanne, personally showed me to my own storage unit (it was all the way in the back, so they didn't want me to get lost). I also love that they have multiple ways to make your payments (online, call-in, check, etc); it makes it very convenient for people who live far away. I'm very happy I found them when I was researching storage facilities because I can't imagine another company being as professional, helpful, and courteous as this one. I'm very happy, and it's been a huge stress relief as I transfer out of Portsmouth to Newport News. UPDATE: I had an emergency situation that caused me to need a bigger storage unit as I would not be moving to Newport News afterall. I went to American Classic and spoke to Ms. Veronica about my situation, and even though it was a very last minute thing, she was able to help me out and get me a bigger unit without any issues. It was an easy process transferring everything over, and I'm so thankful that Ms. Veronica was able to help. American Classic has honestly been a blessing, and they've lifted a huge weight off my shoulders as I go through a major life change! I appreciate them so much..”
