Lakeside, California is an unincorporated community nestled in the foothills of the County of San Diego. Living up to its namesake; it is surrounded by several lakes where you can fish, boat, jet ski, and camp. It has a long tradition of being a “cowboy town,” due to a prevalence of ranches, horses, and the Lakeside Rodeo Ground. Here, a thriving Lakeside Rodeo Association hosts at least two rodeos per year, among other fun events. Lakeside is the quintessential small-town living experience, nestled away in the exciting and expansive San Diego County.

When StaxUP Storage found the opportunity to offer their self storage solution to the people of Lakeside, we jumped at the chance! First, we placed the property where it would have easy accessibility to the 67 HWY and the city of Lakeside. We wanted our StaxUP Storage Lakeside property to be another jewel in our portfolio and for its surrounding community; a new, state-of-the-art facility, built from the ground up with the customer in mind.

Well-designed with the customer in mind, all three floors of this building have a flat, drive-up entrance. No need to climb or carry, as we provide push dollies on every floor for our customers’ use. If it better suits your needs, we do also offer an elevator for access to the floor you are renting a unit on. All units are interior units and have roll-up doors. Our facility is sure to have a storage solution for you, no matter the storage type.

The latest in technology, accessibility, and convenience; our customers use the StaxUP app to gain entrance to the facility and their unit. We offer access to the property from 5am to 10pm, 7 days a week and all holidays. Tenants can only access the floor of their unit, offering the height of security for you and your belongings.

Speaking of security, we provide constant, 24-hour video surveillance at every point of entrance and exit. Every unit is protected by a digital lock with a complete activity log for the unit – logging when it is accessed or locked. Also, inside every unit is equipped with a motion and heat sensor. This feature immediately notifies the Manager if there is activity inside the unit once you have locked and secured your unit. Every unit also has a fire sprinkler located inside the unit.

Never wanting to scrimp on amenities and features for our valued customers, we offer a 20-foot moving truck for rental or to use FREE for your initial move-in. Customers may make reservations, rent a unit, and pay entirely online or at the kiosks located in the office. We pride ourselves on our integrity and are proud to offer the security and protection your storage unit needs. 

Strengthening Our Community is an important value at StaxUP Storage, and we are constantly looking for ways to reach out to and give back to our communities. For over 50 years, Lakeside has hosted an Annual Western Days Parade. After building our new facility in this beautiful community, StaxUP Storage Lakeside participated in this parade for the first time last year – and won 1st Place in the Commercial category. Already thrilled at the chance to get out and celebrate our community, we were bowled over to win such a prestigious ranking!
