When can I access the facility? What are your office hours?

You can access the property 365 days a year with your gate access code between the hours of 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Our office is open for your convenience Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

What type of security do you offer?

Sonoma Self Storage has 24-hour video surveillance cameras and individual keypad gate access.

Do you provide locks?

We sell a variety of secure locks for your convenience.

What kind of documentation do I need to rent a storage unit?

We require a government-issued ID, such as a state issued driver’s license, state ID, or passport. All renters must be at least 18 years old.

Do you offer flexible lease terms?

All of our storage units are leased on a month-to-month basis. We offer various promotions throughout the year. We are excited to announce that we now offer online rentals – you do all the paperwork ahead of time!

Do I need insurance on my belongings?

Yes, you are required to insure your belongings at Sonoma Self Storage. We offer low-cost self-storage insurance options at the facility. If you have your own homeowners or renter’s insurance policy, you may use that instead. You must bring a copy of the declaration page at the time of rental.

How do I make a payment?

We have a variety of easy payment options to help simplify your life. You can pay automatically with a major credit card, pay online through our website or via mail using a check or money order. You may also pay in person during regular business hours.

Is my initial monthly storage unit rent guaranteed for as long as I rent my storage unit?

We strive to provide the best customer service in the storage industry. We may find it necessary to make adjustments to our customers’ rental rates in order to keep up with the rising costs associated with providing top-notch service and a safe and secure facility.

Can I change my storage unit to a different size after I have already moved in?

Our staff will make every effort to accommodate your needs. If the unit size that you want is available at the facility, you may transfer to another storage unit.
